Care for Children / Mother's Day 2025

Every year Care for Children volunteers at Portland visit the seniors at the Glisan Care Center and Laurelhurst Village to present beautiful handmade bouquets to celebrate their contribution to humanity. This year we re-engage to bring the gift of flowers, well wishes and cheers to many forgotten seniors in nursing homes and senior care centers nationwide on the occasion of Mother's Day. For every $25 donation, we will deliver a beautiful flower arrangement to a senior mother in USA while also supporting the education of lesser privileged students in India. Team Portland has been part of the Care for Children Team since 2016. Our most dynamic volunteers are of the age of 6 to 10 years. These kids love to make hand made cards filled with their creativity and joy. And every single senior that we have shared these gifts with, love to read these personal notes from these young ones.
