Art of Living

Care for Children is the oldest service project of the Art of Living Foundation. Since 1982, thousands of underprivileged children have received free education, books, stationary, mid-day meals, uniforms, transportation and medical checkups. This has given them a joyful childhood and a new chance at life with a bright future ahead! 

Recently, the project has been extended to provide education and care for hundreds of COVID orphans in India. These are under-privileged children who have lost both parents to COVID, during multiple waves of the pandemic. All care and amenities including free education will be provided to these children so that they may enjoy a childhood and a bright future through the gift of education. We ask for your generous support!

Care for Children (also called 'Gift A Smile' in India) currently runs 702 FREE schools in 22 states in India educating over 72,000+ children. As a key service initiative of the Art of Living Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational and humanitarian organization, all donations qualify for full tax exemption.
