About Delaware Dashers

The Care for Children Delaware team is a strong and committed core group of volunteers who have been spreading love, kindness, and hope for the past 17 years. Each year, our mission is strengthened by new volunteers who join us, bringing fresh energy and compassion to our work. A special part of our team includes young children and families, who lovingly create hundreds of handmade cards with heartfelt messages for senior mothers in government-run nursing homes. These thoughtful gestures bring joy and comfort to many elderly mothers who may otherwise feel forgotten. Together, our volunteers continue to turn compassion into action—honoring senior mothers on Mother’s Day while also supporting free education for underserved children in India.This year our goal is to support 100 students for an entire year($365/per student x100 students).We are requesting your generous support.
